Wybrałam właśnie siebie

Wchodziłam w drzewa, ludzi, zwierzęta

Gry i budynki

Zawsze coś nie pasowało (…)

Dopiero w tej formie się ułożyłam

I wypełniłam ją szczelnie

Od czubka nosa po pięty, na styk

W takim przebraniu

Weszłam między ludźmi

A potem zaczęła się moja historia

Która ma ze mną tyle wspólnego

Co dwie osoby stojące obok siebie w metrze

Zuzanna Bartoszek jest poetką i artystką urodzoną w 1993 roku w Poznaniu. Publikowała m.in. na łamach „Twórczości”, „Małego Formatu” czy "Wizji". W roku 2016 ukazał się jej debiutancki tomik wierszy „Niebieski dwór”. Swoje prace wystawiała m.in. w Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie, Kunsthalle w Zurychu, Cell Project Space w Londynie, galeriach w Paryżu, Lozannie i Wiedniu. W 2021 roku nakładem wydawnictwa WBPiCAK ukazała się jej druga książka poetycka „Klucz wisi na Słońcu”, za którą została nominowana do Nagrody im. Wisławy Szymborskiej. Mieszka i pracuje w Warszawie.

I just chose myself

I went into trees, people, animals

Games and buildings

It was only in this form that I fit in

Zuzanna Bartoszek - b. 1993, Poznań, Poland. Artist, poet. Her practice include poetry, short stories, prose poetry, drawings and paintings. She took part in exhibitions in MoMA Warsaw, Cell Project Space in London, Kunsthalle Zurich, galleries in Paris, Lausanne and Vienna. Her poems were published in such magazines as: Twórczość, Dwutygodnik, Wizje, Mały Format, Lampa. In 2016 Disastra published her debut poetry collection Niebieski dwór (Blue Outdoors). In 2021 her second book was released entitled Klucz wisi na Słońcu (The Key Hangs on The Sun). Lives and works in Warsaw.

A recording that touches something ancient in us and brings a shift to places not yet discovered. It's hard to describe in any sensible way something that definitely mixes the spirit of Palestrina with the legacy of minimalism, reductionism and improvisation, although that's not really important here. A deeply emotional thing that doesn't talk about humanity, but speaks directly to it. jiristepan
